Creation Care Cohort
Creation Care Cohort
We Are a Community That Cares for Creation as an Act of Faith
The College Church Creation Care Cohort was established by participating in the pilot year of Churches of Restoration (CoR), a program of A Rocha USA, part of A Rocha’s global family of conservation organizations working together to live out God’s calling to care for creation and equip others to do likewise.
The Creation Care Cohort is open to people of all ages and abilities with an interest in caring for creation as part of their Christian discipleship and witness. The group meets periodically on Sundays at 11:30 am in the College Church Library with notice given by e-mail in advance.
Meetings typically last 90 minutes and include:
A time of sharing food, fellowship, and prayer.
An opportunity to grow in our God given responsibility to reflect God’s character in knowing, delighting in, and caring for each other, our fellow creatures, and the whole Earth.
A time of discussion and planning how we can best participate in Christ’s healing and reconciliation of relationships with one another and with all creation through practices of loving our neighbor and caring for creation.
