Is College Church meeting in person?

Yes!

We are gathering for worship each Sunday at 10am at our outdoor sanctuary behind the main church building.  Each service is livestreamed and archived on our YouTube page.

Small groups, GROW classes, youth group, fellowship events, recovery groups, counseling and pastoral care are all being offered in person.

Am I required to wear a mask or practice social distance?

No!

Beginning Sunday, May 30th, masks and social distancing will no longer be required at outdoor services at College Church.  All indoor and outdoor church activities, both on and off campus, can resume at full capacity, without restrictions, and the church office will officially re-open.

We strongly encourage all participants to follow the CDC’s guidelines for vaccinated and unvaccinated people, and ask that if you are sick, please stay home.

What if I am not yet ready to attend in-person events.  Is there anything for me?

Yes!

In addition to livestreamed services, we will continue to offer Crash Courses, prayer gatherings, counseling and pastoral care online or by phone.

Elders, deacons, shepherds and other servant leaders will continue to provide spiritual support, visitation and prayer—in person, over zoom, or over the phone.

We also maintain an archive of sermons, classes and other resources on our YouTube Page to encourage and equip those who prefer to engage remotely.

I have health issues and should not be exposed to sun and heat for long periods of time.  Is there an opportunity for me to worship indoors?

Yes!

Starting May 23rd, those with health concerns can worship indoors in Room 2 on the basement level – directly across from the outdoor service.  Chairs, lyrics sheets and a radio broadcast of the service will be provided.  Masks will not be required beginning May 30th.

When will College Church resume indoor services?

The Facilities team is working hard to complete the restoration and repairs to the basement in the wake of this winter’s flood.

Members of our Tech Team are working hard to adapt the sanctuary and install new equipment to support livestreaming once we return indoors.

When these two projects have been completed, we will resume indoor services.  The target date for their completion is July 31st.

Will services continue to be livestreamed?

Yes!  We will continue to livestream our outdoor services, and we will continue to livestream after we move back indoors.

Can I wear a mask even if I’m not required to?

Absolutely!

In fact, we strongly encourage unvaccinated people to wear a mask – especially while gathering indoors.

We may not all be on the same timetable when it comes to living without masks and social distancing, and that’s OK!

We urge everyone to be patient and considerate of others, to “read the signs” and respect those who want to maintain a six-foot buffer, and to ask permission before you go in for that handshake or hug.
